Cosmos Hotel Group and RUDN University Graduate School of Management launch joint Master's degree pr

Cosmos Hotel Group, a leading federal hotel operator, and Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN University) have signed an agreement to begin joint training for a new generation of managers in the hospitality industry. The first stage of cooperation will be a joint master's degree program developed by specialists from the RUDN University Higher School of Management in collaboration with the Academy of Hospitality Cosmos. The training starts on September 1, 2025.

The Master's degree program will be conducted at the RUDN University Department of Hotel and Restaurant Business in the field of Management. The program "Hotel Complex Management" will include such disciplines as operational and strategic management; managerial economics; a foreign language in professional activity; digital technologies and artificial intelligence for service personalization; modern management methodologies (Agile, Kanban, SCRUM, SAFE); innovative service solutions focused on sustainable development and ESG principles; development, implementation and optimization of business processes, customer experience management strategies and much more.

"We are launching a new master's degree program because we are confident that the success of the hotel business depends on professionals who know how to manage, innovate and work with the guest experience. The program combines advanced technologies, practice and knowledge from industry leaders," said Anna Ostrovskaya, Director of the RUDN University Graduate School of Management.

In the next 3-5 years, a large number of new resorts and hotels will appear in different regions of the country, which require new management approaches from top management, knowledge of modern technologies, as well as international service standards. Therefore, the launch of our joint master's degree program with one of the country's leading universities, RUDN University, is a logical step in building human resources for the hotel industry. Cosmos Hotel Group has been actively engaged in staff training and development for the Cosmos hotel chain since 2018. Following the results of their studies, graduates of the Master's program of RUDN University and Cosmos Hotel Group will be able to apply for the positions of hotel complex manager or general manager; operational, executive or commercial director, as well as director of quality, development, sales.
