New level of security

AB-SAFETY Group of Companies, one of the leading private security companies in Russia, is implementing an advanced security system using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) at protected facilities. The pilot project was successfully implemented jointly with Aeromax, the innovation centre for civil unmanned technologies of Sistema PJSFC, in the territory of Cosmos Collection Izumrudny Les Eco-Hotel near Moscow, which is managed by Cosmos Hotel Group, also part of Sistema Joint Stock Financial Corporation Group.
To control and monitor the perimeter of large-area facilities, in close cooperation with Aeromax, AB-SAFETY security company has developed an advanced security system, the effectiveness of which is about 15 times higher than that of traditional video surveillance systems. Since May 2021, this system has been successfully integrated by AB-SAFETY into the security system of Izumrudny Les Hotel managed by Cosmos Hotel Group and located in Klinsky District of Moscow Region on an area of 220 ha with a forest park and a lake. The system consists of a set of measures with the use of UAVs. The UAV is continuously in the air for 45 minutes on a flight mission and monitors the territory. Its flyby radius is up to 7 km from the starting point. The function of automatic flight to specified points allows AB-SAFETY to control the territory and promptly respond to incidents occurrence. This patrol system can detect and stop the violator of the protected area from a distance of 400 meters with the help of a UAV.
For this purpose, the UAVs used are equipped with a spotlight and a loudspeaker. The "air" security transmits to the violator the requirement to "immediately leave the territory". The facial recognition function installed on the basis of the complex transmits data about the violator to the guard station online, which increases the responsiveness of the security personnel to incidents. From a distance of 300 meters, the thermal imaging camera of the UAV detects a person at night in a forest area. Also, with the help of this technology, it is possible to identify recently parked vehicles in the protected area, and from a distance of 500 meters – to determine the movement of an unregistered vehicle. The 200x optical and digital zoom is able to recognise and fix the licence plates of the violator, then the data is promptly transmitted to the guard station.
The drone-guard allows you to quickly and effectively solve many specific tasks. Its flight is virtually silent, and the design allows the operator to use various target loads to solve incidents of any complexity. AB-SAFETY GC provides security for more than 500 facilities in Moscow and in the Russian Federation, can offer the customer the widest range of specialised services in all segments of the security business. Complex security systems, in which technological solutions are integrated using Aeromax unmanned aircraft systems, have virtually unlimited possibilities.
